Los Angeles Kings defenseman Christian Ehrhoff had to exit Saturday’s game against the Nashville Predators late in the second period after being slammed into the boards from behind by Mike Ribeiro.
Ehrhoff has missed games in the past because of concussions, but he might not end up missing any more time due to this incident. He was already back on the ice Sunday for the Kings’ practice, per LA Kings Insider, and is feeling better.
He did take exception to Ribeiro’s hit though, which he described as a “dirty play,” according to Jon Rosen.

Ribeiro received a minor penalty for boarding.
Los Angeles went on to earn a victory over the Predators in overtime, extending its winning streak to seven games. The Kings will play Chicago on Monday.
