Jaromir Jagr sure doesn’t play like a 43-year-old, but every now and then, we’re reminded that he’s at least human.
The Florida Panthers’ veteran suffered a lower-body injury against the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday, and he won’t return tonight.
Considering his hot start and a bad break for former first-linemate Aleksander Barkov, this is another health setback for the (hopeful upstart) Panthers.
On the bright side, at least the initial word is that it didn’t seem too significant.

Then again, hamstring issues can be a real pain, whether you’re 43 or 20, so we’ll see.
Update: It seems like Jagr’s precise issue isn’t known just yet.
