Time for another Red Wings injury update.
OK, here goes:
-- Mike Green is out 2-3 weeks with an upper-body injury. That means he’s likely to miss the Nov. 10 game against his former team, the Washington Capitals.
-- Kyle Quincey (concussion) is out through the weekend. Detroit hosts Carolina tomorrow, Ottawa Friday, then plays in Ottawa Saturday.
-- Brad Richards is spending today seeing a specialist in New York about his lower-back issue. The injury is not believed to be serious, according to GM Ken Holland, but the club will err on the side of caution.
-- Pavel Datsyuk practiced a bit with the team today, but left halfway through the skate. Don’t expect him back until next month.
