Devils claim Farnham off waivers from Pittsburgh

The New Jersey Devils have claimed forward Bobby Farnham off waivers from Pittsburgh.

Farnham is a 26-year-old winger who’s played just 14 career games in the NHL, with no goals and no assists.

Undrafted out of Brown University, Farnham has racked up over 700 PIM in the minors, AHL and ECHL combined.

Farnham is a pending unrestricted free agent with a $575,000 cap hit.

A Devils player has fought three times this season -- Jordin Tootoo twice, Kyle Palmieri once.
