After being placed on waivers yesterday, ‘Hawks forward Bryan Bickell was back on the ice with his teammates on Saturday.

Per CSN, Bickell was skating on Chicago’s third line with Teuvo Teravainen and Ryan Garbutt during the team’s morning skate.

The Blackhawks are hosting the Stars tonight, and it looks like the 29-year-old will get another opportunity to prove his worth.

Bickell’s lack of production and his expensive contract are two of the reasons why Chicago hasn’t been able to find a taker for his services.

He has two years remaining on a contract that carries a $4 million cap hit.

If the Blackhawks decide to send Bickell to the AHL, they will save $950,000 in cap space but will carry $3.05 million in dead money.
