Stanislav Galiev could make his NHL debut as early as Wednesday after the Washington Capitals recalled the forward from the AHL’s Hershey Bears on Tuesday.

Galiev, the Capitals third-round selection (86th overall) at the 2010 NHL Draft, has a team-leading 25 goals and 45 points in 64 games with Hershey this season.

According to The Washington Post’s Alex Prewitt, Galiev’s recall on is on an emergency basis. Both Tom Wilson, who blocked a shot off his head in Sunday’s win over the Detroit Red Wings, and Eric Fehr (upper body) are questionable.
