The Boston Bruins should have Zdeno Chara in the lineup tomorrow in Washington; the big captain was back at practice today after missing yesterday.

“It feels good,” he said, per the Bruins’ website. “I practiced today. We had a good practice and worked on a few things, getting ready for Washington.”

Chara’s absence Monday came two days after he blocked a shot off his ankle versus Toronto.

“I mean, we all block shots, we all do whatever it takes to win, and that situation obviously I decided to make a play by blocking and that was it,” he said.

One key defenseman the Bruins will not have for the Capitals game is Dougie Hamilton (ribs). He skated by himself today, but won’t travel with the team to Washington.

The Bruins also play Thursday and Saturday at Florida and Tampa Bay, respectively.
