Toronto forward Nazem Kadri’s terrible, horrible, no good, very bad month continues.

Having already served a team-issued suspension for behavioral issues, Kadri now faces discipline from the league after catching Edmonton’s Matt Fraser with an elbow on Monday night.

The NHL’s Department of Player Safety announced the decision today, with Kadri’s hearing coming on Wednesday.

Here’s the hit in question, which netted Kadri a two-minute illegal check to the head minor:

Fraser left the game following the hit and didn’t play another shift. No word yet on the severity of his injury.

Kadri does have a history as a repeat offender which could play a part in his disciplinary hearing. In November of 2013, he was suspended three games for bowling over Minnesota goalie Niklas Backstrom.
