R.J. Umberger will have surgery on his right hip and abdominal muscles on Wednesday in Philadelphia and is done for the season the Flyers announced on Saturday.
Umberger has missed two straight games.
The 32-year-old has nine goals and 15 points to go along with a minus-9 rating while averaging 13:49 of ice time.

He is expected to require 10 weeks of recovery time.
Umberger has two years remaining on his five-year, $23 million contract after this season.
Philly is back in action this afternoon when they play host to the Detroit Red Wings.
