The Boston Bruins will be without David Krejci for 4-6 weeks due a partially torn MCL in his left knee the club announced Monday.
Krejci suffered the injury during the Bruins’ 5-1 loss to the St. Louis Blues on Friday night.
He left the game after checking Alexander Steen early in the second period. You can see the incident below:
The Bruins have placed the 28-year-old on injured reserve.
Krejci has seven goals and 26 points in 38 games this season while averaging 18:06 in ice time.
