Last April, the San Jose Sharks and L.A. Kings waged a memorable seven-game playoff series, with the Kings creating history by erasing a three-games-to-none deficit and eventually moving on to win the Stanley Cup.
Tonight, those two Californian teams meet again -- renew hostilities, if you will -- at Levi’s Stadium as part of the NHL’s Stadium Series. It’s another chapter in the evolving rivalry between the Kings and Sharks.
No surprise, this is an important game, too. The Kings trail the Sharks by only two points for the final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference.
