A couple of Bruins notes:
--- Defenseman Kevan Miller has been placed on injured reserve. No surprise there after he was sent home Tuesday with a shoulder injury.
Said coach Claude Julien on Miller’s injury: “I don’t know what the final prognosis is, but it’s not looking good.”
The B’s have not recalled a defenseman to replace Miller, leaving them with the minimum six healthy blue-liners ahead of tomorrow’s game in St. Louis and Sunday’s in Chicago.
--- The Bruins did call up a forward from AHL Providence. Brian Ferlin, 22, could make his NHL debut tomorrow.
Julien on Ferlin: "I liked him in training camp, he's a big body, strong along the walls"
