It was almost as if this goal came almost out of nowhere.

Jonathan Toews set up Marian Hossa for the opening goal of Monday’s game against the Arizona Coyotes with a perfect backhand pass from the corner.

Toews found a loose puck in the corner and fed it out front to a wide open Hossa, who was cruising into the slot, for his 13th of the season. You know, that whole thing about going to the net with the stick on the ice, good things happen. The Blackhawks and Coyotes were tied 1-1 after 40 minutes.
