L.A. Kings defenseman Alec Martinez is suffering from concussion symptoms following a hit from Lightning forward Cedric Paquette Saturday night.

The hit occurred in the first period of the Kings’ 4-2 win in Tampa Bay.
Paquette hit Martinez shoulder-to-shoulder, but Martinez hit his head on the glass.
Martinez missed time earlier in the season due to a finger injury.
The 27-year-old has five goals and 17 points in 45 games this season while averaging 20:26 in time on ice.
L.A. is back in action Monday night when they visit the Columbus Blue Jackets.
