Getting waived is becoming old hat for T.J. Galiardi.
On Thursday, the Jets placed the 26-year-old forward on the wire for the second time this season, a move that coincided with activating defenseman Mark Stuart off IR.
Galiardi -- who’s never met the promise shown during his 15-goal, 39-point rookie campaign -- was first waived by the Jets back in November, with no takers. Since then he’s played sporadically and has just one goal in 26 games this season, averaging 10:45 TOI per night.
Should he pass through waivers again, it’s possible he’ll be off to Winnipeg’s AHL affiliate in St. John’s.
