The Detroit Red Wings will look for a fourth consecutive win without all star goaltender Jimmy Howard tonight when they play host to the Buffalo Sabres.

Petr Mrazek has won three straight starts while posting a 1.63 goals-against average.

The Sabres enter Joe Louis Arena losers of six straight in Detroit and 14 of its’ last 15 dating back to 1996.

Buffalo was handed its’ 10th consecutive regulation loss in a 4-3 decision against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night.

Detroit dropped the first meeting between the two clubs, 3-2, in a shootout on Nov. 2. However, since then the Red Wings have outscored the Sabres 9-4 in two wins.

Tonight marks the fourth and final meeting between Buffalo and Detroit this season.
