For the second time in three nights, the Toronto Maple Leafs were kept to a zero on their side of the scoreboard. The losing continues.

On Wednesday, the fell by a final score of 4-0 to the Anaheim Ducks in the second of three games through California on this current road trip. Corey Perry had the hat trick - his third already this season - and Ryan Getzlaf had two assists.

According to hockeystats.ca, which tracks the analytic side of the game, Perry and Getzlaf dominated puck possession at even strength, with 75 and 77 per cent Corsi For ratings, respectively.

Hey, at least the Leafs outshot their opponents. That’s something, right? This month, the Leafs have been shut out twice, kept to one goal in a game on two different occasions and have undergone a coaching change.

David Booth left the game in the third period, and didn’t appear to be in good shape as he headed to the dressing room.

The frustration of Leafs fans appears to have reached out west now, too.
