Update: Eriksson is in the lineup for Jordan Caron.

Eriksson missed the Bruins’ 3-0 win over the New Jersey Devils Thursday after taking a slash to his right hand/wrist area on Wednesday night in Pittsburgh.

Rookie David Pastrnak dressed in his sixth NHL game in Eriksson’s absence and had 15:04 in ice time while registering four shots on goal.

Eriksson has nine goals and 25 points in 41 games this season.

Boston beat Philadelphia 2-1 on Oct. 8 in the only other meeting between the two clubs this season.
