Wild defenseman Ryan Suter will miss his second straight game with the mumps when Minnesota hosts Anaheim tonight.

Per NHL.com, coach Mike Yeo confirmed today that Suter was able to skate by himself but was not well enough to play against the Ducks.

The Wild beat Montreal, 2-1, on Wednesday without Suter, the NHL’s ice-time leader. Jared Spurgeon topped all blue-liners in ice time, logging 26:09, while Jonas Brodin was second with 25:14 and Marco Scandella third with 25:07.

After tonight, Minnesota’s next game isn’t until Tuesday at home versus the Islanders.
