The Arizona Coyotes are playing much of tonight’s game in Edmonton with just five defensemen after Connor Murphy was sidelined early in the first period.
Murphy took a shoulder-to-shoulder hit from Oilers’ forward Tyler Pitlick and immediately went to the Arizona bench in some discomfort.
Another look:
The team is calling it an upper body injury for the 21-year-old blue liner.
FYI: Murphy (upper-body injury) will not return.
