Troy Grosenick makes his debut?
It looks like the San Jose Sharks will allow Troy Grosenick to make his NHL debut against the Carolina Hurricanes today, according to CSNBayArea.com’s Kevin Kurz by way of Sharks play-by-play guy Dan Rusanowsky.
Such an occurrence may prompt some to respond, “Who?” Here are some tidbits about Grosenick, the goalie featured in this post’s main image.
- He’s 25.
- He went undrafted.
- Grosenick’s AHL stats are pretty underwhelming both in 2014-15 and last season.
- The Wisconsin native is about average size for a goalie, give or take, if his listings are accurate.
- This is his Twitter feed. It looks like he might be a fan of Frank Caliendo.
So ... not much to go by there. Assuming that report is correct, Grosenick will give us all more to work with as he plays his first game against Anton Khudobin and the Hurricanes.
