Islanders activate Josh Bailey from IR

The New York Islanders have activated forward Josh Bailey off of injured reserve the club announced Thursday.

Bailey,25, has been out of the Islanders lineup since Oct. 23 with a broken hand.

In seven games this season, Bailey has two goals and four points.

In a separate transaction, the Islanders placed Eric Boulton (lower body) goes on injured reserve retroactive to Nov. 10.
