Petteri Lindbohm’s time in St. Louis did not last long.

Lindbohm, recalled on Saturday before making his NHL debut in Sunday’s 3-0 loss to Anaheim, has been sent back down to AHL Chicago, the Blues announced on Monday.

The Finnish blueliner drew into the lineup yesterday at the expense of Jordan Leopold and fared well, playing 14:05 while leading the team with four shots on goal. Lindbohm, who was St. Louis’ sixth-round pick at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, also threw two hits and blocked one shot.

Tonight only a small sample but it’s only a matter of time before Petteri Lindbohm is an every day NHL player for #stlblues. Strong debut.
