Los Angeles Kings GM Dean Lombardi got his chance to be with the Stanley Cup on Sunday and he chose to take it to the Charles M. Schulz Museum, which is dedicated to the late cartoonist that created Peanuts, as well as Snoopy’s Home Ice, per the Los Angeles Times.

Schulz was a hockey fan and his love of the game was often made its way into Peanuts.

The Hockey Hall of Fame’s Philip Pritchard shared some lighthearted pictures of Lombardi’s day:

Of course with the summer winding down, so too is the Kings’ time with the Cup. They’ve won it twice in the last three years, but haven’t been able to become the first team since the 1997-98 Detroit Red Wings to successfully defend their championship. They’ll have another chance to do so in 2014-15.
