Call off the arbitration hearing -- Chris Kreider and the New York Rangers have reportedly agreed on a two-year deal worth $2.35 million in the first year and $2.6 million in the second.
Kreider had 17 goals and 20 assists in 66 games last season. The 23-year-old winger then scored five more times in 15 playoff games.
With Mats Zuccarello also agreeing to a contract, that leaves restricted free agents Derick Brassard and John Moore for the Rangers to get signed.
Brassard’s arbitration hearing is scheduled for July 28 (Monday).
