The Union College-to-Philadelphia pipeline continued on Tuesday, as the Flyers announced they signed forward Matt Hatch to a free agent deal.

Hatch, 24, was an undrafted free agent that helped Union win its first-ever NCAA championship earlier this year. He, along with another recently-signed Flyer -- Frozen Four MVP and ’12 draftee Shayne Gostisbehere -- finished among Union’s top scorers this season; Gostisbehere was fifth on the team in points and Hatch was fifth in goals, with 13.

They aren’t the only Union players to make the jump this year, either. Montreal signed the team’s leading scorer, Daniel Carr, while the Rangers signed captain Mathew Bodie.
