The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that goalie Jonathan Bernier (sports hernia repair) and Carl Gunnarsson (hip) underwent successful surgeries at the conclusion of the season.

In a release, the club said that both players are “progressing well” and “expected to fully recover in time for the start of training camp in September.”

The Leafs also expect forward Joffrey Lupul (knee meniscus surgery) to be ready for camp.
