The National Hockey League has suspended Brandon Bollig two games for boarding Minnesota Wild defenseman Keith Ballard during Game 4 of that Western Conference second-round series on Friday.
The incident occurred late in the second period, when Bollig ran Ballard from behind into the glass. Ballard was shaken up, left the game and did not return. Bollig received only a minor penalty on the play.
