Tonight on NBCSN, it’s the Philadelphia Flyers hosting the New York Rangers at 7:30 p.m. ET. Following are some game notes, as compiled by the NHL on NBC research team:

--- The Rangers have lost their last 11 playoff games which they entered with a lead in the series, the longest such streak in NHL history. The last time the Rangers won a game when they led in the series was in Game 4 of their 2009 first-round series against Washington (led series, 2-1; won Game 4, 2-1); the Rangers went on to lose Games 5, 6 and 7 in that series. In the three series since then when they’ve held a lead at any point in the series, their series record is 2-1.

--- The Rangers last had a series-clinching game last postseason, winning Game 7 in their first-round matchup against Washington. New York is 3-1 in their last four series-clinching games. Philadelphia is 0-2 in their last two elimination games, but 9-5 in their last 14 dating back to the beginning of the 2007-08 postseason.

--- Seven of the eight first-round matchups in the 2014 playoffs have featured at least one overtime game, with Flyers-Rangers being the lone exception. Only one game in this series has been decided by one goal (Game 4, PHI won 2-1); however, no team has had larger than a two-goal lead heading into the third period of any game.

--- Ranger forward Brad Richards scored his 30th career postseason goal in Game 5, becoming the 19th active player to reach the milestone. Flyer forward Vincent Lecavalier also scored in Game 5, his 25th career postseason goal, and first playoff tally since May 17, 2011 (w/ TB). Prior to his late goal in Game 5, Claude Giroux had not scored in his previous 14 meetings (10 reg. season, 4 postseason) against the Rangers dating back to a goal on Feb. 11, 2012.

--- New York’s Dominic Moore recorded the second game-winning goal of his postseason career and his first since April 28, 2010, (for the Canadiens) with his game-winner in Game 5. Moore has found the back of the net in each of the past two games, the first time he’s scored in consecutive games in his playoff career (9G-10A in 49GP).

--- The Rangers have failed to convert on 15 straight power-play opportunities after beginning the series 3-8 (3-23 for the series, 13%). The Flyers are 4-16 (25%) in the series with the man advantage. Philadelphia has scored a power-play goal in each of the last two games.

--- The Flyers have generated 24.6 shots per game in this series (fewest in playoffs) compared to the 30.4 they put up during the regular season.

--- Henrik Lundqvist made 24 saves in Game 5 to pick up his 33rd career playoff victory. Lundqvist has allowed a goal or less in 5 of his 10 starts in April, while never allowing more than three goals.
