It didn’t come without drama, but the St. Louis Blues came away with a 4-3 overtime win against Chicago Blackhawks in Game 2 to take a 2-0 lead as they head to Chicago for Game 3.

The hero this time around was Barret Jackman as he beat Corey Crawford 5:50 into overtime to seal the game with a slap shot through traffic that squeezed through Crawford’s pads.

After the game, Jackman tells NBC’s Brian Engblom what he saw on the game-winning goal.

Where the game changed, however, was late in the third period when Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook was given a five-minute major for charging Blues captain David Backes. The hit dazed and knocked Backes out of the game and gave the Blues an opportunity to tie the game up with six seconds left.

The Blackhawks were down 2-0 after the first period because of goals from Chris Porter and Kevin Shattenkirk, the latter a buzzer-beater. After two it was 2-1 when Duncan Keith scored in the second, but early in the third they got goals from Seabrook and Michal Rozsival. Both goals deflected off Blues players in front of the net, Rozsival’s goal was especially funky.
