The Lightning suffered a 5-4 overtime loss to Montreal in Game 1 of the series, so while this contest isn’t a must-win for Tampa Bay, it’s close to it.

The Lightning have an uphill battle ahead of them though, given that rookie Ondrej Palat is hurt and goaltender Ben Bishop isn’t likely to return from his elbow injury “any time soon.”

That being said, Steven Stamkos is healthy and doing everything he can to lead the Lightning. He beat Canadiens goaltender Carey Price twice in Game 1.
