It’s been a battle tonight between the San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks, with the Pacific Division up for grabs.

It’s also been a close game, with little room for error and big goals. Sharks’ forward Logan Couture scored his 22nd goal of the season in the second period, tying the game at two-goals apiece at the time. It was a perfect shot from Couture, who went top corner from a tricky angle on rookie puck stopper John Gibson.

Not all good for the Sharks, however. Goalie Antti Niemi was given the hook after the Ducks took a 3-2 second-period lead on Patrick Maroon’s second goal of the evening.
