Lightning lose Gudas (lower body) for the night

Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Radko Gudas suffered a lower-body injury during Sunday’s game against the Colorado Avalanche and won’t return.

Gudas, 23, represented the Czech Republic during the 2014 Olympics. He’s easily the team’s most frequent hitter this season, as he came into today’s game with 208 hits; Eric Brewer has the second-most hits on the Bolts’ roster with 106.

Gudas has 16 points and 122 penalty minutes in 56 games played this season.
