Video: Oilers’ Hendricks suffers head injury in fight, won’t return

Hendricks

Edmonton forward Matt Hendricks left tonight’s game against San Jose following a first-period tilt with Mike Brown and has been ruled out with a head injury, the Oilers announced.

Here’s the fight in question:

Hendricks left the ice immediately following the scrap, and didn’t return. The 32-year-old, acquired from Nashville two weeks ago, does have a history with concussions, missing four games with one during the 2009-10 campaign after a scrap with Brad Staubitz.
