Vancouver Canucks head coach John Tortorella announced that Alexander Edler is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Edler, 27, suffered the ailment in Tuesday’s 3-1 win against the Nashville Predators.

The Swedish defenseman has missed time for Vancouver recently, but it’s all been due to two suspensions (one last season, one this one) instead of injuries. He has nine points in 27 games with a -12 rating in 2013-14.
