Eric Staal and Cam Ward helped the Carolina Hurricanes end a four-game losing streak by beating the Ottawa Senators 4-1 on Sunday.
Staal had a goal and two assists while his brother Jordan collected his fifth assist of 2013-14. Ward stopped 35 out of 36 shots (including an amazing stick save) to improve his record to 3-3-4 on the season.

Justin Faulk also had an outstanding afternoon, collecting two assists in 24:12 of ice time.
Jason Spezza scored Ottawa’s only goal, which made it 1-0 at the time. Robin Lehner wasn’t able to win back-to-back games, allowing three goals on 36 shots.
With that win, the Hurricanes improved to 9-10-5 while the Senators fell to 9-11-4.
