Rookie defenseman Morgan Rielly is a healthy scratch for the Toronto Maple Leafs in tonight’s game against the Boston Bruins.

Rielly, 19, and the Leafs’ first-round pick, fifth overall from the 2012 NHL Draft, has five assists in 14 games. However, in Friday’s shootout win over New Jersey, Rielly had a season-low 12 minutes and 55 seconds of ice time.

With Rielly out of the lineup, the Leafs are going with Paul Ranger and Mark Fraser as the third defence pairing, according to Paul Hendrick of Leafs TV.
