Video: Isles’ Grabner faces phone hearing for hit on Canes’ Gerbe

New York Islanders winger Michael Grabner will have a hearing with the NHL for his hit on Carolina Hurricanes forward Nathan Gerbe from Saturday.

Update: Islanders Point Blank’s Kevin Schultz found video of the hit:

Grabner, 26 did not receive a penalty following that hit and Gerbe (also 26) didn’t appear to suffer an injury. Grabner doesn’t have a history of supplemental discipline.
