Video: Lecavalier, Streit set up Flyers’ season-opening goal

It didn’t take long for the two newest Flyers to endear themselves to the Philly faithful.

With just seven seconds remaining in the first period of the Flyers’ season opener against Toronto, Mark Streit and Vincent Lecavalier combined to set up Brayden Schenn for Philly’s first goal of the year:

Most of the kudos go to Lecavalier, who showed great hands on his behind-the-net dangle and assist. It capped off a strong opening frame for Lecavalier -- sporting his new No. 40, the former Tampa Bay captain had seven shifts for 7:03 TOI while notching a hit and one shot on goal.

Streit finished the first period with 10 shifts for 7:33 of ice time.
