The Minnesota Wild will look a little different away from the Xcel Energy Center in 2013-14. They’ve unveiled their new road jersey, which is designed to conform better with their home sweaters.
Vice President of Brand Marketing, John Maher emphasized that they also wanted the road jersey to be unique rather than merely the reverse of what they wear at home, which is part of the reason why it still prominently features the Wild logo on the front.
So you can compare, below is a picture of Josh Harding in the new sweater followed by an image of the Wild celebrating a goal last season in their old jersies:
They also showed off their new look in a video ahead of the jersey’s game debut in a preseason match with the Winnipeg Jets on Sept. 19:

When it comes to point streaks for U.S.-born NHL players, Patrick Kane now stands alone.
With a power-play goal early in Saturday’s Blackhawks – Kings game, Kane extended his streak to 19 games, breaking a tie with Phil Kessel and Eddie Olczyk (who finished with at least a point in 18 straight).
As of this writing, Kane has 11 goals and 19 assists during this 19-game streak. He also leads the NHL in scoring.
Bobby Hull’s 21-game point streak stands as the Chicago Blackhawks’ overall team record, by the way.
Kane also tied Denis Savard (1985-86) for second-longest streak in Chicago history. Bobby Hull had a 21-game streak.
