Ty Conklin has landed another job in the National Hockey League.
The St. Louis Blues on Friday named Conklin as the team’s goaltender development coach.
His tasks include workng with goalies in the Blues organization, but most of the time that will be with those playing with the Blues new affiliate, the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
Most of Conklin’s time in the NHL was spent as a back-up goaltender.
He broke into the league in 2001-02 with the Edmonton Oilers, playing with six different teams before finishing his playing career in the Detroit Red Wings organization in 2011-12.
Throughout the course of his NHL career, Conklin had a record of 96-67-4-17. He played two seasons with the Blues toward the end of his career.
