Blown leads an early trend in the playoffs

Blues score

It’s probably just one of those small-sample-size anomalies, but after 10 games of the 2013 NHL playoffs, there have been six games where teams have overcome deficits to win.

Three of them happened last night. Ottawa was down 2-1 before beating the Habs, 4-2; Washington was down 1-0 before beating the Rangers, 3-1; and St. Louis was down 1-0 before beating the Kings, 2-1.

Not to mention, the Ducks fought back to tie the Red Wings after trailing 4-1, only to lose in overtime.

In the first two days of the playoffs, Minnesota, Toronto, and Vancouver opened the scoring in their games but failed to win.
