Prior to the start of tonight’s Bruins-Sabres game from TD Garden, NHL on NBC play-by-play man Mike “Doc” Emrick delivered an emotional soliloquy about Monday’s tragedy at the Boston Marathon.
In it, he not only referenced the strength the city has shown in the aftermath of the incident, but also at how sport can be a powerful agent in the healing process.
