Chicago Blackhawks’ forwards Patrick Sharp and Andrew Shaw left Wednesday’s game against the Colorado Avalanche with injuries.
Sharp left the game in the third period after being driven hard into the boards by Avalanche defenseman Ryan O’Byrne, as per NHL.com.
Shaw left in the second period, and did not return for the third. The Blackhawks were without winger Marian Hossa, who was a late scratch due to an upper body injury.
#Blackhawks' Patrick Sharp "might miss some time" according to Joel Quenneville. Marian Hossa not serious and Andrew Shaw "is not too bad."
