The Detroit Red Wings are winless in three games without forward Johan Franzen, and they’ll be missing him again Tuesday in Nashville.
Per the Detroit Free Press, Wings head coach Mike Babcock confirmed today that Franzen (hip) will sit out his fourth straight game tomorrow.
Franzen has three goals and six assists in 12 games. The 33-year-old led the team with 29 goals last season.
In other team news, the Wings (7-6-2) have recalled goalie Jonas Gustavsson from AHL Grand Rapids and sent goalie Petr Mrazek the other way.
Mrazek started Sunday’s 3-2 loss at Minnesota.
