Matt Duchene of the Colorado Avalanche sounded off on his team’s lack of scoring, following a 3-0 loss to the Anaheim Ducks Wednesday.
The Avalanche, with two wins in their last seven games, have been shutout three times now this season. The Avalanche outshot the Ducks 31-20 but couldn’t solve goalie Viktor Fasth, who recorded his first NHL shutout.
“We have to figure out a way to score, that’s the bottom line,” Duchene added to the NHL.com. “I mean, getting shut out three times in 10 games is unacceptable.”
