It looks like Jiri Hudler will make his KHL return just two seasons after going back to the NHL.

Czech-based club team HC Lev Praha signed him for the lockout, according to Sovetsky Sport’s Genadi Boguslavski.

Hudler signed a four-year, $16 million contract with the Calgary Flames during the offseason, but that will obviously need to wait.

After beginning his career maturing in the Detroit Red Wings organization, salary cap issues forced him to spend the 2009-10 campaign with Dynamo Moscow in the KHL.

Hudler generated 54 points in 54 games with the KHL team before playing two additional years with the Red Wings, including last season’s 25-goal, 50-point output.

Other Lev Praha players of interest include shootout wiz Erik Christensen, Marian Hossa’s brother Marcel and Jiri Novotny.
