An NHL source tells ESPN Boston’s Jimmy Murphy that the Bruins are “not in on” the bidding for Rick Nash and Bobby Ryan.
In a presumably related story, apparently B’s GM Peter Chiarelli doesn’t want to give up David Krejci or Milan Lucic in a trade.
Boston is thought to be one of the teams on Nash’s approved list, along with Detroit, Pittsburgh, San Jose, Philadelphia, and New York (Rangers).
It was reported late Tuesday that the Red Wings made a “hell of an offer” for Nash, but received no response from Jackets GM Scott Howson.
