A Swedish news site is reporting Daniel Sedin won’t play in tonight’s Canucks-Kings opener in Vancouver.

The site’s source? Sedin’s father, Tommy.

Tommy said his son suffered a headache after Monday’s practice, explaining why Daniel (concussion) skipped yesterday’s practice (though he did skate afterwards with the Black Aces.)

Without Daniel in the lineup, Mason Raymond is likely to move up to the first line with Henrik Sedin and Alex Burrows, while Max Lapierre replaces Raymond on the second line, where he’ll play with Ryan Kesler and David Booth.
