Pittsburgh’s Evgeni Malkin is probably going to wind up being the MVP of the league this season and after scoring his 40th goal of the year, he’s right in the mix for the Art Ross Trophy as well. Seeing him team up with Sidney Crosby on the Penguins power play, however, is all sorts of unfair to opponents and Crosby proved that with an incredible cross-ice pass to Malkin for a bomb of a one-timer.
Legendary Devils goalie Martin Brodeur didn’t stand a chance of stopping this incredible offensive duo today as the Penguins rolled to a 5-2 win, their 11th straight victory.
It just ain’t right seeing these two working together this well already.
